Because of you ... Women are Zooming to Thrive! 

I was so humbled and personally inspired to see the women we were helping, completely blow away my expectations. It is because of you that we were able to go, give dignity and empower women like Safi. She was able to take a simple dignity kit, and transform it into a powerful centrepiece/prop of a drama that taught women in her community on how they too could be empowered with such a solution. These same women were inspired and together they further went on to do Safi's drama to a larger crowd that gathered at the Refugee camp for World Toilet day! (An event that happened long after I was gone!)

We don't have to be paralyzed with the overwhelming needs. It is not about us giving "Hand-outs", but partnering with incredibly resilient women in "Hand-ups".

For Her Dignity partnered with Transformation Textiles in 2016 to undergo our first pilot in Kakuma Refugee Camp.
