In South Sudan, in remote places where women do not have easy access to sanitary protection ... this is what many have to resort to ... Palm Fronds and a piece of string!

I had no words and couldn't wrap my head around the images our partner in South Sudan (Persecution Project Foundation) shared with me upon their first delivery of Dignity Kits. I can't imagine the abrasive wounds that would  result from strapping one of these on ... what desperate measures are taken for some form of dignity ... this picture compels me onward in finding ways to get more Dignity Kits to the girls and women of Nuba.
